Who can apply?
Established charities and not-for-profit organisations that are registered and/or licensed as such in their
country of operation, who have been in operation for at least 3 years.
We are looking for organisations that have the necessary expertise, experience and capacity and are well
placed to deliver the work for which funding is sought.
What type of projects do we fund?
We fund projects and services that align with our Vision, Mission and Values (See Appendix) in the
provision of education, healthcare, and housing for the benefit of children and young people that will
deliver a positive impact on a significant number of children.
We prioritize projects that support and engage directly with disadvantaged children and young people to
help keep them safe, healthy, provide access to quality education so they may achieve their potential,
develop confidence, and build healthy relationships.
Projects must also show how the benefits will impact the wider community (parents, extended families,
local community).
What funding can you apply for?
• Capital Costs – i.e.: fixed, one-time expenses incurred on the purchase of land, buildings,
construction, items of equipment and/or,
• While we don’t solely fund operational costs, if they are linked to a capital cost, we review that
on an individual manner. The Charity must provide an operating budget identifying exactly which
costs they wish to fund using the funds provided by Gulf For Good, and over what period.
What don’t we fund?
• Work that supports individuals
• Work that is not charitable
• Work that has already taken place
• Solely operational costs
