The project improved access to safe, inclusive education for children from poor and marginalized communities. School enrolment increased by 3%, while improved water and sanitation facilities reduced illness-related costs for families. By creating a safer learning environment, the project also helped keep children in school, reducing their risk of child labour, exploitation, and trafficking.

SDG 3: Good Health & Well-being

Creating a healthier school environment

The project provided 155 students with access to safe drinking water, filtered water systems, and hygienic, disability-friendly sanitation facilities. Health and hygiene education sessions improved daily hygiene practices, while safer facilities reduced health risks, anxiety, and absenteeism, supporting students' overall wellbeing.

Improving learning opportunities for every child

The project enhanced the learning environment through improved classrooms, safe sanitation facilities, and access to clean water. School attendance increased from 91% to 93%, enrolment grew by 3%, and dropout rates remained low. The inclusion of gender-segregated and disability-friendly facilities also improved accessibility, dignity, and participation for girls and children with disabilities.
