Marathon du Médoc 2027

About The
Challenge
Take on one of the world’s most distinctive marathon experiences with Gulf for Good in the heart of France’s famous Bordeaux wine region.
The Marathon du Médoc combines the challenge of a full marathon with spectacular vineyard scenery, French hospitality and an unforgettable carnival atmosphere. From race registration and the official Pasta Dinner to marathon day itself and a celebratory vineyard walk, this five-day experience turns 42.2 kilometres into a weekend unlike any other.
Challenge Highlights
This is not your average marathon.
The Marathon du Médoc winds its way through the vineyards and châteaux of France's famous Médoc wine region, bringing together thousands of runners from around the world for what has become one of the most unusual marathons on the running calendar.
There are costumes. There is music. There are vineyards, châteaux and food stops.
And yes — there may even be a little wine along the way.
But beneath all the fun, this is still 42.2km on foot.
In September 2027, Gulf for Good will bring a team together to take on the Marathon du Médoc while fundraising in support of a children's project connected to Palestine.
Whether you're an experienced marathon runner looking for something completely different, or you're ready to make this your first 42.2km challenge, this is one finish line you're unlikely to forget.
Run for something. Raise money for something that matters. And have an enormous amount of fun doing it.
