Journey deep into the Peruvian Andes on a five-day trek along the historic Inca Trail, crossing breathtaking mountain passes, discovering ancient ruins and trekking through spectacular cloud forests before reaching the iconic Sun Gate overlooking Machu Picchu.


More than a trek, this adventure combines physical challenge, Peruvian culture and meaningful community connection — creating an unforgettable journey to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

  • Explore Cusco and its surrounding Inca ruins during an acclimatisation day.

  • Visit Chicuchas Wasi Alternative School for Girls, a project working to provide girls with education and opportunities for greater independence.

  • Trek the five-day Inca Trail, deliberately paced to help avoid the main tourist crowds.

  • Climb Dead Woman’s Pass at 4,212m, the highest point of the trail.

  • Trek through spectacular Andean landscapes, cloud forests and historic sites including Llactapata, Runkuracay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca and Wiñay Wayna.

  • Enter Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate, before returning the following day for a dedicated guided exploration of the ruins.  

  • Optional Huayna/Wayna Picchu climb for an additional challenge.


Day-by-Day


Day 1 – Sunday, 14 November: 

Arrive / meet in Cusco, trip briefing and acclimatisation.


Day 2 – Monday, 15 November: 

Cusco ruins and acclimatisation hike, including Sacsayhuaman, Tambo Machay and other historic sites.


Day 3 – Tuesday, 16 November: 

Visit Chicuchas Wasi project in the morning, followed by a free afternoon in Cusco.


Day 4 – Wednesday, 17 November: 

Ollantaytambo → start the Inca Trail at Piscacucho (KM 82) → Llactapata → Camp 1.


Day 5 – Thursday, 18 November:

Llactapata → Huayllabamba → Llulluchapampa, camping at approximately 3,680m.


Day 6 – Friday, 19 November: 

The toughest trekking day, crossing Dead Woman’s Pass (4,212m) and a second pass at 3,998m, before reaching Phuyupatamarca.


Day 7 – Saturday, 20 November: 

Phuyupatamarca → Wiñay Wayna → Sun Gate → Machu Picchu, followed by the bus to Machu Picchu Pueblo and a hotel stay.


Day 8 – Sunday, 21 November: 

Explore Machu Picchu, optional Wayna Picchu hike, then Vistadome train and transfer back to Cusco.


Day 9 – Monday, 22 November: 

End of services / optional transfer to Cusco Airport.
