Day 1

September 25 | Arrival & Journey to Kazbegi

Arrival:

Guests arrive at Tbilisi International Airport, where they will be warmly welcomed and transferred in a premium VIP Sprinter.

Scenic Transfer to the Mountains:

Without delay, the journey continues towards the spectacular mountain region of Kazbegi (approximately 3 hours). This route is considered one of the most picturesque in Georgia, offering breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable views.

Stops Along the Way:

• Ananuri Fortress — a historic complex overlooking a stunning turquoise reservoir

• Aragvi Rivers Confluence — the unique meeting point of the Black and White Aragvi rivers

• Pasanauri — the homeland of Georgia’s most iconic dish, khinkali

Here, guests will enjoy a relaxed traditional meal, tasting authentic Georgian khinkali, taking time to rest after the flight before continuing the journey.

• Friendship Monument — also known as the “Peace Arch,”

  offering panoramic mountain views

Throughout the drive, guests will be surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery, making the journey itself a memorable highlight of the day.

Day 2

September 26 | Hiking Experience in Juta Valley

Morning:

After breakfast at the hotel, guests will set off for an unforgettable hiking experience to the breathtaking Juta Valley — one of the most scenic and untouched corners of the Kazbegi region.

Before departure, each guest will be provided with a carefully prepared lunch box, ensuring comfort and energy throughout the hike.

Hiking Experience:

Accompanied by a professional mountain guide, guests will explore the dramatic landscapes of Juta Valley — often referred to as the “Georgian Dolomites.”

The trail reveals:

• Towering peaks of the Chaukhi Mountains — sharp, rocky formations creating a truly alpine atmosphere

• Endless green valleys dotted with wildflowers during the season

• Crystal-clear mountain streams flowing through the valley

• A picturesque mountain waterfall, where guests can pause, take photos, and fully absorb the tranquility of nature

The area is known for its raw beauty, silence, and sense of remoteness — offering a rare opportunity to disconnect and experience Georgia’s highlands in their purest form.

Along the way, guests will enjoy their lunch boxes surrounded by panoramic views, making the experience both comfortable and memorable.

Atmosphere & Experience:

The hike is designed to be enjoyable and immersive rather than exhausting, allowing guests to take in the scenery at a relaxed pace, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and fully appreciate the grandeur of the Caucasus Mountains.

Return:

After the hike, return to the hotel. Time to rest and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings.

Day 3

September 27 | From Kazbegi to Kakheti – The Cradle of Wine

Morning Departure:

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel in Kazbegi. Early departure towards the legendary wine region of Kakheti. The journey takes approximately 3 hours 40 minutes, offering beautiful changing landscapes from mountains to fertile valleys.

Arrival in Kakheti – Spiritual & Cultural Heritage:

First stop is the historic Alaverdi Monastery — one of the most important religious and cultural landmarks in Georgia.

This impressive cathedral complex dates back nearly a thousand years and is surrounded by vineyards and open landscapes. Alaverdi is also deeply connected to Georgia’s ancient winemaking tradition, where monks preserved and developed unique methods of wine production over centuries.

Lunch Experience:

Near the monastery, guests will enjoy lunch at an authentic Georgian restaurant, where they will be served traditional regional dishes, offering a true taste of Kakhetian hospitality and cuisine.

Monastery & Wine Experience:

After lunch, guests will enjoy a guided exploration of Alaverdi Monastery and its historic wine cellars.

Here, they will discover the ancient monastic winemaking tradition — where wine is still produced following centuries-old methods, accompanied by prayers and rituals.

The experience continues with an exclusive wine tasting led by a professional sommelier, featuring unique wines crafted in this sacred environment, known for their depth and authenticity.

Transfer to Hotel:

After the excursion, transfer to Agarani Hotel (approx.15–20 minutes). Check-in and time to rest after the journey.

Afternoon Activities:

• Horseback riding through the forested landscapes of Kakheti, offering a peaceful and immersive nature experience

• A fun and interactive masterclass on preparing Georgia’s iconic dish —khinkali

Evening:

Dinner at the hotel, overlooking the breathtaking Alazani Valley. A relaxed and atmospheric evening to conclude the day.

Day 4

September 28 | Rtveli Experience

Morning – Introduction to Rtveli:

After breakfast, guests will take part in one of the most important and joyful traditions in Georgia — Rtveli, the traditional grape harvest festival.

Rtveli is a centuries-old celebration marking the beginning of winemaking season. It is not just agricultural work, but a festive cultural event filled with laughter, hospitality, and shared emotions.

Grape Harvest Experience:

Early in the morning, guests will arrive at a local vineyard where they will be provided with baskets and invited to actively participate in the grape harvest.

This is a highly interactive and joyful experience — guests pick grapes directly from the vines, enjoy the warm atmosphere of the vineyard, take photos, laugh, and experience the true spirit of Georgian rural life.

Traditional Winemaking Activities:

After harvesting, guests will take part in the traditional grape pressing process — stepping into the role of winemakers and participating in the extraction of fresh grape juice, the very beginning of wine creation.

Culinary Masterclass & Lunch:

The festive atmosphere continues with a live masterclass featuring:

• Georgian barbecue (Mtsvadi) — traditional grilled meat cooked over open fire

• Churchkhela — one of Georgia’s most iconic sweets, made from nuts threaded on a string and coated with thickened grape juice

Guests will learn how these traditional dishes are prepared and enjoy a relaxed lunch in a joyful, celebratory setting.

During lunch, a guided wine tasting will be offered, featuring local wines produced in the same region.

Rest & Transfer:

After the Rtveli celebration, guests will have time to relax before continuing the journey.

Short transfer (approximately 15 minutes) to Tsinandali.

Tsinandali Estate Experience:

Visit the historic estate of the Chavchavadze family — one of Georgia’s most important aristocratic and cultural landmarks.

The estate features a beautifully preserved palace and a unique English-style landscape park — the first of its kind in Georgia, combining European garden design with local natural beauty.

Within the estate is also a remarkable wine cellar and enoteca, where guests can taste rare and historic wines.

Next Stop – Winery Visit:

A short 5-minute drive leads to Shumi Winery — one of the most renowned wineries in the region.

Here, guests will visit a wine museum, where a 6,000-year-old Qvevri is preserved.

A qvevri is a traditional large clay vessel buried underground, used for fermenting and storing wine — a method recognized by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Gala Dinner:

A festive gala dinner will be organized at Shumi Winery. If weather conditions allow, dinner will be held outdoorsamong the vineyards, creating an unforgettable atmosphere under the open sky.

Optional Experience:

During dinner, guests may optionally enjoy live Georgian polyphonic singing — a traditional form of vocal music characterized by multiple harmonized voices. Georgian polyphony is recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage and creates a deeply emotional and atmospheric experience.

Return:

After dinner, transfer back to Agarani Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5

September 29 | Departure

Morning:

Check-out from the hotel in Agorani.

Transfer to Airport:

Private transfer in a comfortable VIP Sprinter to Tbilisi International Airport. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours, depending on flight schedule. Departure time will be arranged according to guests’ international flights.

Scenic Return Route:

The return journey passes through the beautiful Gombori Pass — one of the most scenic mountain roads in Georgia. This route offers breathtaking panoramic views of rolling green hills, forested slopes, and peaceful valleys, creating a soft and memorable farewell to the country.

The drive also continues through the Shuamta Forest, a tranquil and untouched woodland area located near the historic Shuamta monasteries. The forest is known for its dense greenery, fresh mountain air, and serene atmosphere, offering one last moment of calm nature before leaving Georgia.

End of Tour:
